new mobile dimensions and layouts

, I'm i allowed to specify especially the new screen dimensions on to the css? if so has anyone tried it?

I am not sure I understand the question. You can use media queries to set different breakpoints and if you go back to the bootstrap or foundation source, you can see where breakpoints are set there and change them accordingly. Ideally with a fluid responsive site you will not need to worry about new screen dimensions as your layouts will automatically adapt, rather you will use media queries to utilize the available viewport for effectively by rearranging content containers to improve UX.
